Preguntas Más Frecuentes
What is the difference between chiropractic neurology and traditional chiropractic?
Chiropractic neurology is a post-doctorate program in the field of neurology that diagnoses and applies functional therapies to improve the outcome of neurological disorders, such as: vertigo, neuropathy, post-concussion syndrome, mild traumatic brain injuries, neurobehavioral disorders, Parkinson’s disease, dystonia, tics, tremors and other movement disorders.
Do you still provide general Chiropractic services?
Of course! At The Neuro Clinic we can provide a wide variety of adjusting techniques to address localized body pain. Remember, we don’t just treat the spine. If you have neck pain, back pain, shoulder, hip, wrist, or ankle pain, we will try our best to help you!
What therapies should I expect?
The brain works and thrives on receptors or sensory input from touch, sound, light, smell, joint mechanics, the vestibular system, and verbal cognition to name a few, transcutaneous nerve stimulation or even transcranial magnetic brain stimulation. So we can use any one of these or a combination to promote neural plasticity or to reconnect proper brain function.
What can I expect during the initial exam?
How long is a typical visit?
It depends on the condition that we are treating, but the average neurological case is 20-30 min, and the traditional chiropractic is 10-15 min.
How many visits will I need?
The patient’s diagnoses and neuronal state dictates the number of visits needed. On average, the total number of patient visits is between 6-12 visits. Many of our patients are so satisfied with their results that they return for check-ups throughout the year to ensure optimal health and balance.
How much does it cost?
Our time-of-service fee for your initial full neurological exam is $290 and lasts about two hours. Each follow-up visit is billed in 20 min increments at $85 per increment for time-of-service payments.
What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, check, and most major debit or credit cards.
Do you accept walk-ins?
You may walk-in and visit our clinic and staff, but we are only able to help you medically by scheduling an appointment with one of our providers. Appointments can be made over the phone or in person.
Does your office perform any imaging?
The Neuro Clinic is not equipped with any diagnostic imaging, but the physicians can request with one of our imaging partners if they feel it is necessary. If you have had a x-ray, MRI, or other scan recently, you could bring in the report and/or images for the physician to read.
